If you want a job done right, let the new Ford Ranger do it. Offering an outstanding combination of four-wheel drive capability, impressive power and traction, partnered with up to 3,500 kg maximum towing capacity*, the new Ranger is so capable you'll have to remind yourself that you are actually pulling a fully laden trailer.
The new model retains its exceptional wading capability and is designed to drive through water up to 800 mm deep.
The new Ranger Raptor interior offers a powerful fusion of sportiness and top-level comfort, putting you firmly in control. The bolstered front sports seats are specially designed for off-road support, with technical-suede materials for enhanced grip. Exclusive blue stitching and leather accents feature throughout.

When it comes to towing heavy loads, new Ranger really comes into its own. With a gross payload of over 1 tonne, and up to 3,500 kg towing capability*, you can take on the big tasks and tow bulky loads◊.
Further confidence comes from Ranger's Trailer Sway Control system that is designed to detect ‘snaking’ or trailer sway and reduce your vehicle’s speed to help make towing more controlled.
The system slows the vehicle down by applying the brakes and reducing the engine’s torque if needed. (Standard, but activated with optional Ford trailer tow attachment)
New Ranger's smart technologies are designed to make your drive easier. Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection is designed to monitor your proximity to other vehicles and pedestrians – even in the dark – and can alert you to a potential collision.
If you don't respond to the system's warning signals, Active Braking pre-charges the braking system for enhanced effectiveness when you brake. If the system determines a collision may occur, Active Braking is designed to automatically apply the brakes to help reduce the impact of frontal collisions.

About the New Ford Ranger
Ford Ranger is now better than ever.. The range has four specification levels; XL, XLT, Limited and Wildtrak so there is a specification for all uses both work and play.
The Ford Ranger comes with a standard 2.0L EcoBlue diesel engine with power ratings of either 130PS or 170PS. For the Wildtrak model, this engine can be specified with a 213PS.
The 3.2 TDCi 200PS is also still available also on the Wildtrak.
Both the 170PS and 213PS engines can be mated to a new 10-speed automatic transmission with a 6-speed manual gearbox available throughout the range.
The new Ford EcoBlue 157 kW (213 PS) diesel engine develops 500 Nm of torque. This makes it the ideal choice for carrying heavy loads and towing, while delivering strong fuel efficiency, up to 36.6 mpg (7.7 l/100km) combined.
New Ranger's next-generation Ford EcoBlue EcoBlue 96 kW (130 PS)/125kW (170 PS) diesel engines combine outstanding fuel efficiency with excellent driveability and refinement. Its state-of-the art design helps to keep running costs down without compromising on payload or performance.
Traction is delivered with an Electronic shift-on-the-fly which allows you to change from two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive and back again at the flick of a switch when you’re on the move.
And when you want to get to a remote location, you need power, torque and an abundance of traction which is where Ford Ranger’s four-wheel drive system with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) comes into its own. The grip provided by Ford Ranger’s four-wheel drive system is optimised by a comprehensive ESC system. Part of the system is Traction Control, which delivers excellent on-road and off-road driving capabilities.
If you want it done right, let your Ranger do it.
Impressive power and fuel efficiency, partnered with a gross payload capacity of up to 1252 kg*, make it the ideal partner to shoulder your workload. With an impressive load box volume, Ford Ranger has been designed to work harder to earn its keep, so it offers a huge load box volume (1.8 cu.m to the top of the load box for the Regular Cab).
There are DIN-compliant tie-downs, both interal and external and these handle up to 4000 newtons of lashing force. Some series (Limited and Wildtrak) are also available with a C-channel tie-down system for the load box as standard, making it even easier to secure loads
