As standard, all Trafic variants offer easy access to the load area via a nearside sliding-door and 180-degree-opening rear doors. The van is available in four Single Cab height/length configurations: L1 H1, L2 H2, L1 H2 or L2 H2. Alternatively, a Crew Van iteration offers more cabin capacity while featuring an additional sliding door on the offside.

Single Cab models provide room for three full-size adults (a driver’s seat plus dual passenger seat). Crew Van variants, meanwhile, feature an extra rear row, comprised of three individual seats.

Depending on which length/height layup and Single/Crew version you choose, the Trafic offers a load capacity of between 4.0 m³ (Crew Van) and 8.9 m³ (Single Cab L2 H2).

This critically admired vehicle is available in Start, Advance, Extra and Extra Sport trim levels, with Start grades coming well-equipped as standard. For instance, full-LED headlights with (C-shaped daytime running lights), heated and power-adjustable door mirrors and roof bars are all included.

Inside, the driver is provided with an adjustable and lumbar-supporting position (with armrest) and rake-and-reach-adjustable steering wheel, while audio entertainment is offered by a DAB digital radio. Alternatively, you can plug-and-play your compatible devices via AUX and USB inputs – or stream your favourite music with Bluetooth. A 3.5-inch driver display screen is included too.

If you desire an infotainment upgrade, select the second-tier Advance trim, which features an eight-inch touchscreen and provides seamless integration for Android/Apple smartphones. If you require navigation functionality, Extra/Extra Sport grades offer just that.

Standard-issue safety features include seatbelt reminders, a full steel bulkhead (or glazed with Crew Van variants) and a range of driver aids. These include Electronic Stability Control, Anti-lock Braking System and speed-limiting Cruise Control. Hill-start Assist is featured too, allowing smooth, controlled starts whenever the vehicle is on an incline.

Single Cab Advance trims offer the added convenience of a load-through bulkhead – allowing the transportation of extra-long cargo – and rear parking sensors. Extra grades include Active Emergency Braking System and Driver Attention Alert while Extra Sport trims feature Lane Departure Warning and Traffic Sign Recognition – and a rear-mounted parking camera.

The Renault Trafic is fitted with a 2.0-litre Blue dCi engine, with power/torque outputs ranging from 128bhp/320Nm to 168bhp/380Nm. The vehicle offers a maximum 1,166 kg payload capacity and a peak 2,500 kg towing capacity.
