We are currently recruiting for a PDI / Prep Technician for our Prep Centre in Forfar

The Role 

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and reliable Prep Technician to join our team. If you take pride in high-quality workmanship, enjoy hands-on tasks, and prefer a role focused on consistent, practical work rather than major engine or warranty repairs, this could be the ideal job for you.

Key Responsibilities 

• Conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new vehicles.
• Preparing used vehicles for resale, including basic mechanical checks and repairs.
• Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
• Supporting the wider workshop team as needed

About You 

• Takes pride in becoming a respected expert in your field through quality, repeatable workmanship
• Prefers a steady workload without major engine or warranty repairs
• Knowledge in auto electrics desirable but not essential
• Previous mechanical experience working on cars or light commercial vehicles (LCVs)
