Trainee Parts Advisor

We currently have six depots and are the sole IVECO dealer group in Scotland. Additionally, we also represent Ford, Fiat and Maxus commercial vehicle franchises.

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Parts Advisor to join our busy parts department in Broxburn.

We are looking for someone with willingness and drive to become fully trained and to really progress within the Commercial Vehicle Parts Sector. Some experience of commercial vehicles would be preferable although not essential as training will be given however, the ability to learn and carry out tasks as directed is essential.

THE PERSON

To work within a dedicated team providing original and aftermarket parts support to a customer base of commercial vehicle operators and other small businesses.
Provide parts support to our own very busy workshop.
Communicate with customers to determine their requirements.
Identify parts, produce quotations and supply parts required for various jobs.
Accurately process customer/workshop orders as well as orders received via other AM Phillip Trucktech branches.
Assist colleagues where required with goods in, parcel despatch, serving on customer counters and warehouse duties.
Take part in the completion of the department’s annual stock take.
