Ford Transit Chassis Cab Ford have a number of new and exciting commercial vehicles arriving in the next 12 months. These include new technologies which will make the portfolio of Ford Commercial Vehicles among the most economical and environmentally friendly available. Following the success of the Ford Ranger Thunder and Raptor, additional new variants of the Ford Ranger Pick-up are also coming. Strategic partnerships will also bring new refrigerated vehicles and Welfare options straight from the factory.

TRANSIT CHASSIS CAB

Ready to work at any time of the day or night, the Transit Chassis Cab comes as a Single or Double Cab and has a variety of wheelbases depending on your business needs. Hardworking, determined and versatile, the Chassis Cab van is uniquely designed to meet daily demands with the Single Cab offering a maximum payload of 2,755kg and 185 PS of horsepower. The Double Cab also comes with room for up to six passengers with plenty of stowage space under the back row. With wide-opening doors providing easy access to the interior, the Transit Chassis Cab is simple to load and unload.

In Great Shape for Bodybuilding

The Transit Chassis cab is available as a Single Cab, Double Cab and as a Skeletal Chassis. The Chassis Cab comes with four wheelbases and five frame lengths including the L5 extra-long extended chassis frame. The Double Cab gives accommodation for up seven people and also has four wheelbase lengths. Both Single Cab and Double Cab are available as front, rear or all-wheel drive depending upon the wheelbase and variant. The Skeletal Chassis is ideal for conversions which require a low floor and walk-through access to the cab and also comes as a fully stripped version for motorhome conversion. Based more upon the van configurations, the Skeletal Chassis is available in either Leader or Trend specification series.

Ford EcoBlue Diesel Engine

Offering power and efficiency in abundance, the Transit Chassis Cab makes light of even the most difficult of tasks. 2.0-litre diesel engine options are available as well as the Ford EcoBlue diesel which is a new addition to the range helping to maximise efficiency.

Adaptive Cruise Control

The Transit Chassis Cab offers optimum driver support. There’s Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control which helps you to set how fast you want to travel. This will adjust if the traffic slows to ensure you stay a safe distance from the vehicle ahead. There’s also Electronic Stability Control which will help you to stay in the right lane when it’s windy.
