FORD TRANSIT TRAIL
The Ford Transit Trail adds a new dimension to the top-selling van. With additional capabilities thanks to an all-new Limited-Slip Differential, Transit Trail can cope with more rugged off-road conditions and gets you to places where you need to go; with limited fuss.
Rough off-road tracks and slippery construction sites are now within reach in the Transit Trail. The additional option of all-wheel drive takes you up a level and combines the famous practicalities of Ford Transit with a competency of a rough terrain vehicle, ensuring your business has the ability to go that extra mile.
A Limited-Slip Differential allows the wheels with most grip to receive the most power, thus reducing wheel spin and enabling the Transit Trail to cope with tricky, loose and slippery road conditions. That power comes from the sophisticated 2.0 Litre Ford EcoBlue Diesel engine delivering up to 185PS of horsepower.
Style is not compromised either as Transit Trail boasts and imposing new front grille, bodyside mouldings and 16" alloy wheels.
The Transit range has expanded with the introduction of Transit 5-Tonne. Available as a Chassis Cab and Double Cab with a payload offering of up to 2,960 Kgs, Transit 5-Tonne brings the largest payload and of any Transit.
Transit 5-Tonne is also available in the Jumbo Van version with a payload of up to 2,457Kgs and the option of the 10-Speed automatic transmission.
Both Chassis and Van versions come with dual rear wheels and all the comfort and features that you'd expect from the Transit.
Arriving on 2022, Ford E-Transit will bring electrification to the mainstream. The ubiquitous and iconic Transit will join the ever-growing range of electric vehicles from Ford and offer a truly zero-emission commercial vehicle.
Ford E-Transit will lead electrification of Ford commercial vehicles.. The 400-volt, 67kWh battery powered vehicle will have a range of up to 217 miles (350 km) and will give operators the flexibility to carry out their business in a new sustainable way.
With three lengths and two roof heights, E-Transit will not compromise on the flexibility and capability that has made it the go to workhorse for over fifty years. With the battery stored under the cargo space, and with a carrying capacity of up to 1,616kgs the functionality of E-Transit will continue. And with Pro Power Onboard, you can power tools from the 30-volt socket.
With reduced running and maintenance costs and an ever-increasing infrastructure, the case for a switch to electrification is a compelling one. Charge points can be installed at home or depot and a zero to full charge takes just over 8 hours.
