Impressive Load Space Access

Loading and unloading the new Transit Custom is easy thanks to wide-opening rear doors that can be opened to 180 degrees. These can also be locked open at 90 degrees for your safety, so you won’t have to worry about the doors slamming onto you if it’s windy or you’re trying to load up on a slope or hill.

Load-Through Bulkhead

Carrying longer items is possible thanks to the load-through bulkhead which provides extra storage beneath the dual front passenger seats. Transport pipes, poles, ladders and tools of up to three metres in length for L1 models and 3.4 metres for L2 models.

Active Park Assist

The new Transit Custom is easy to park thanks to impressive Active Park Assist technology. This identifies available spaces and then safely steers you into place. All you need to do is control the brakes and gears. Park-Out Assist can also steer you out of parallel spaces too.

TRANSIT CUSTOM TRAIL​

Transit Custom Trail combines all the effortless elegance of the Transit Custom with a capability to go where you wouldn't expect.

With a Limited-Slip Differential (manual only) and engines up to 185PS, Transit Custom Trail is designed to get you to those awkward off-road places, off the beaten track.

The Limited-Slip Differential directs power to the wheels that have most grip when you are in rougher, uneven road surfaces which may consist of loose ground. This reduces wheel spin and get you moving out of difficulty.

Available in the 2.0 litre Ford EcoBlue Diesel engine as well as a EcoBoost Hybrid option, you can be assured that Transit Custom Trail is among the most fuel efficient and environmentally friendly commercial vehicles on the market.

Add to that a specification including 16" 10-spoke alloy wheels and bold front grille with optional roof and side rails, all means you won't be lacking in the style rankings either.

NEW FORD TRANSIT CUSTOM MS-RT

New Transit Custom MS-RT brings a new sense of styling and tailoring to the Custom range. Powered by the 2.0Litre EcoBlue 185PS diesel engine in either manual or automatic, you know that you are getting the sound elements of the Transit Custom; a powerful workhorse but with a design that lifts you above the crowd.

Features are packed in the Transit Custom MS-RT and begin with the unique full front bumper and grill replacement which include factory designed fog lamps, wide body arch extensions. Sills and spoilers front and rear. A twin sports exhaust system gives the vehicle that sporty look and it is all wrapped up in the unique MS-RT branding.

18” anthracite OZ Racing alloy wheels are unique and exclusive to Transit Custom MS-RT and come complete with Hankook Ventus S1 EVO3 tyres which provide sublime and reassuring handling and responsiveness.

If the exterior is impressive, the interior is equally exciting. The MS-RT Nappa leather and suede seats provide a luxurious feel with MS-RT branding to the seating, steering wheel, floor mats and clock rounding off the hand-crafted feel. High specification features also include Ford SYNC 3 entertainment system with satellite navigation, parking sensors with rear camera, ‘Quickclear’ heated windscreen, heated seats, upgraded high-intensity headlamps with LED daytime running lights.

TRANSIT CUSTOM PLUG-IN HYBRID (PHEV)

Transit Custom has always been renowned for its tough, Functional reliability and superior levels of its design and craftmanship. Now, it delivers and even wider range of innovative features and smart technologies.

Introducing the New Transit Custom Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) which has two separate power sources. A battery powered electric motor drives the vehicle, while its 1.0L Ford EcoBoost petrol engine works to recharge the hybrid battery and extend the vehicle’s range.

The driver can select between three available EV modes, including EV Now which allows you to drive with zero emissions on electric-only power, to a targeted range of up to 35 miles. The PHEV battery can also be recharged using most AC network charging points.

The New Transit Custom PHEV is available as a Van, Kombi or Bus (M1). All vehicles are powered by the 1.0L 126PS EcoBoost Petrol engine with an automatic gearbox and have the L1 wheelbase with H1 roofline. The Van variant comes with a choice of Base, Trend or Limited specifications. Kombi vehicles have the Trend specification while the Bus model is fitted in the high specification Titanium specification.
