We currently have six depots and are the largest IVECO dealer in Scotland. Additionally, we also represent Ford, Fiat and Maxus commercial vehicle franchises.
We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative / HGV Driver for our busy commercial vehicle workshop in Glenrothes.
The overall purpose of the role is to assist in the smooth running of the workshop by collecting and delivering customer vehicles and carrying out maintenance and cleaning tasks in the yard and offices.
Areas of responsibility:
- Keeping the workshop and yard clean and tidy.
- Collecting and delivering customer vehicles including presenting vehicles for HGV MOT’s.
- General equipment cleaning including sweeping up, power washing etc.
- Waste management - emptying of bins, sorting of recyclables etc.
- Any other reasonable task as instructed by the Aftersales Manager and/or Workshop Foreman.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to work on your own initiative.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to recognise where and when duties arise and fulfil these requirements satisfactorily.
- Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
Experience/Skills:
- Current Full HGV Driving License (class 2 minimum)
