Duties of a Service Advisor

  • Always able to greet customers in positive and professional manner.
  • Understands the importance and follows GDPR.
  • Strives to exceed manufacturer CSI targets.
  • Take ownership of your customers, track their vehicle through the workshop and provide updates when advised.
  • Inputs customer information and work required information into the IT System precisely and in a timely manner, ensuring our CRM data is comprehensive.
  • Supply the workshop team with accurately inputted jobs for technicians to complete.
  • Provide accurate information for breakdowns from manufacturers to our workshop team.
  • Discuss the work to be carried out with customers, confirming contact information with the customer so you can update them regarding their vehicle later on.
  • Be comfortable in providing updates to customers – even if this is information they may not want to hear!
  • Create accurate estimates for additional work and provide this to your customer to obtain authority.
  • Communicate with the workshop team.
  • Create new bookings accurately and load jobs into our workshop.
  • Advise on servicing and repair work.
  • Discuss the work carried out and the VHC with the customer.
  • Work as a team to achieve targets.
  • Responds to phone calls and emails from customers/ businesses in a timely manner.
  • Taking payments from customers.
  • Develop your advisor knowledge by attending courses both company and manufacturer as needed.

  • Confident in your quality of work.
  • A reliable and committed individual.
  • You will be organised and able to multitask in a fast pace working environment.
  • Passionate! You love to assist customers no matter how small the ask.
  • Ability to work IT systems is a must.
  • A valid drivers licence is preferred.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary. 30 days holiday a year, running January to December, a company pension as well as Training & development.
